NativeEnergy Carbon Offset Donation
Thanks to all who donated!
|
Through donations, conference participants offset 92 tons of carbon, or approximately 30% of the total carbon emissions associated with the travel, lodging, and on-site energy usage of NCSE's 2007 Conference: Integrating Environment and Human Health.
The money we raised will be used by NativeEnergy, an American Indian majority-owned national marketer of renewable energy credits (RECs), to help build new farm methane and wind energy projects on Native American and Alaska Native land.
