Grants.gov Web Site Launched   The federal government has launched a website that will eventually provide a centralized database of grants across all federal agencies.  The site, www.grants.gov, allows users to search for grants by agency, by funding activity category, or by keyword.  Grant application materials can also be accessed through the site.     Several agencies that typically fund environmental R&D, including the National Science Foundation (NSF), Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), and Department of the Interior (DOI) have begun posting grant opportunities on the site.  The website offers an email notification system for new grant opportunities.  More resources will be added as the grants.gov website is developed further.
